are rated in academic terms as being comparable to Master's Degrees, Integrated?

No, the Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership is not an integrated Master’s degree. It is a standalone vocational qualification regulated by Ofqual and accredited by OTHM. While it sits at RQF Level 7, equating to master’s-level academic rigor, it does not confer a university degree title upon completion. Instead, it serves as a strategic bridge. Graduates use the 120 credits to access the final year of an MBA at partner universities. This pathway allows working managers to gain master’s-level strategic capability without committing to a full three-year degree programme. The distinction is critical for career progression. You gain the academic standing and strategic direction skills required for senior roles, but the actual Master’s award depends on successfully completing the subsequent MBA top-up module. This structure offers flexibility and cost efficiency compared to integrated routes.
