are equivalent to Degree Final Year; OTHM Level 7 Diplomas are equivalent Masters / Postgraduate level?

No, the OTHM Level 7 Diploma is not equivalent to a degree final year. It sits at RQF Level 7, which is master’s level, not undergraduate. A bachelor’s degree final year is typically Level 6. The Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Online – MBA Top-Up Route (120 Credits) is regulated by Ofqual and aligns with postgraduate study. It serves as a direct precursor to an MBA top-up, not an undergraduate degree completion. Learners should distinguish between Level 6 (undergraduate) and Level 7 (postgraduate) frameworks. This qualification focuses on strategic direction, organisational capability and governance, matching the academic rigour of a master’s degree rather than an undergraduate final year. It is designed for senior professionals seeking postgraduate-level strategic management expertise without completing a full three-year MBA programme.
